ich habe (noch) fast keine Erfahrung mit Mikrocontrollern, Strommessungen oder dem Umgang mit dem Lötkolben. Genau das möchte ich jetzt ändern und darum habe ich mir diesen Fnordlichtbausatz bestellt.
Nachdem ich meine erste Power-Platine mit kalten Lötstellen zerstörte..
...das lag aber am billigen Lötzinn in Kombination mit einer viel zu großen Lötspitze..
..hab ich mir jetzt eine Lötstation mit Soll-Ist Temperaturanzeige zugelegt und Lot welches bei ca. 230 Grad schmilzt (statt wie vorher bei gefühlten 300). Außerdem ist es nicht so dick. Meine Lötstellen schauen nun gleich viel besser aus.
Mein Problem Nr.1: ****************** Im Wiki steht:
Kurzschlusstest (nur mit MM) Zuerst wird überprüft, ob die Power-Platine nicht vielleicht das Netzteil kurzschließen könnte/würde. Dazu überprüft man den Wieder- stand zwischen GND und 13V. 0 Ohnm wären ein glatter Kurzschluss, nicht so gut. Zum Testen auch mal beide Kombinationen ausprobieren.
Wenn ich mein MM auf Widerstandsprüfung stelle und Rot an 13 Volt, Schwarz an GND anlege, erhalte ich einen Widerstand von ca. 38MOhm.
Vertausche ich nun Rot + Schwarz, erhalte ich den bösen Kurzschluss (?) Bzw. das MM zeigt "OL". Ist das jetzt ein gutes oder schlechtes Zeichen? Ich bin mir jetzt nicht sicher ob sich nicht doch irgendwo zwei Lötaugen berühren und einen Kurzschluss verursachen. Augenscheinlich sieht alles sehr sauber aus. Es ist auch kaum Flussmittel auf der Platine.
Ist das jetzt normal? Die Diode hat bei der Prüfung mit dem MM eine Widerstand von 5,6 Ohm und wenn ich hier die Kabel tausche ebenfalls ein "OL". Ich meine Theoretisch ist das auch Logisch, da nur in eine Richtung der Stromfluss durch die Diode zugelassen wird.
Genau an der Stelle verwirrt mich der Eintrag im Wiki. Warum sollte man beide Varianten ausprobieren? Theoretisch sollte der Stromfluss doch nur in eine Richtung funktionieren? Jedenfalls bevor ich jetzt etwas falsch Kaputt mache wollte ich einfach mal nachfragen.
Mein Problem Nr.2: ****************** Der Tesa-Trick bezieht sich nur auf die drei Verbindungen auf der Display-Platine (Wiki-Bild) nach unten (Display-Platine->Controller-Platine) oder auch auf die drei Verbindungen vom Controller zur Power-Platine?
Kann man die Plastik-Stücke der "Stiftleiste gerade", wirklich verschieben? Bei meinem Trocken-Versuch hab ich lediglich die Pins verbogen... geht das einfacher wenn die Füße verlötet sind? Ich hab Angst das ich mir nachher die Lötaugen breche wenn ich das nicht vorher schon "los-Schiebe".
Ich brauche Löt-Tipps für Anfänger: *********************************** - Wie empfindlich sind die Platinen? Zwar versuche ich jetzt die Pads zwei drei Sekunden vor zu wärmen, anschließend auf der Lötspitze das Lot zu schmelzen (dauert so weiter 2-5 Sekunden) und dann das Lot von der Spitze auf das Pad/Pin zu Übertragen (dauert weitere 3 Sekunden) und Fertig. Aber wenn es mal doch nicht klappt und/oder sich Augen Verbinden, wie gehe ich dann am besten vor? Das Lötzinn heiß(er machen?) und das Lot mit einer Unterdruck-Pumpe weg saugen?
-Kann man Flussmittel-Reste von der Platine entfernen? Oder sollte man versuchen das "alle Teile/Lötstellen bei einem Durchgang" perfekt werden und bei einem Fehler neu anfangen?
-Muss ich wenn ein Teil nicht klappt, die Temperatur erhöhen, das Lot absaugen, das Bauteil entfernen und durch ein neues ersetzen?
-Sieht man die kalten Lötstellen erst im Betrieb oder erkennt man sie sofort? Manche Augen sind nicht so schön Spitz, oder haben nicht diese "alles umschließende Form" sondern nur 7/8 oder sind etwas Knubbelig zu einer Seite.
-Entstehen beim "Nachbearbeiten" immer Kalte Lötstellen oder kann man auch mal neues Lot mit der alten (abgekühlten) Lot-stelle erweitern?
-Hat es einen Vorteil wenn die Pins lang sind? Ich hab hier jetzt 1-2mm. Müssen die komplett Verzinnt werden oder dürfen die raus gucken? (Wenn ich mir das genau überlege könnten die doch da Oxidieren, oder ist das nicht so Tragisch?)
-Verzinnte Lötspitzen: Brauch ich das bei meiner Lötstation auch? Das Flussmittel im Lot verschmiert doch die Spitze, wenn ich da wie beschrieben Lot darauf "ruhen lasse", oder haben diese Spitzen eine spezielle Beschichtung (? ohne Flussmittel?) so das ich das ich mir da keine Gedanken machen muss? In der Anleitung steht leider nichts zur Pflege, aber ich vermute das ich das nicht abschmirgeln sollte und wenn vielleicht mit Lot-Zinn "auf frischen" müsste welches KEIN Flussmittel enthält?

Da bei den Stiftleisten "oben" und "unten" identisch ist, steck die Leiste zum Verlöten erst mit der "Oberseite" rein, verlöten und dann die Platik nach unten schieben. Ja, das geht ein bischen schwer, nach dem einlöten geht es aber ggf. leichter.

So mach ich es: Ein bischen Lot auf die Spitze damit die Wärmeübertragung zum Pin/Pad besser klappt und dann beides gleichzeitig ranhalten. Wenn es dann nicht gleich klappt, wiederholt man das ganze nochmal. Landet zuviel Lot auf dem Pad: Lötkolbenspitze auf Schwam abstreifen, damit nicht soviel Lot dranhängt. Dann die Spitze nochmal aufs Pad, und die Spitze nimmt von dort Lot auf. Ggf. wiederholen.

Kann man, mach ich aber nicht.

Ersteres ja. Was meinst du mit "neu anfangen"?

Das Lot muss schön flüssig sein, wenn das bei dir mit 200° funktioniert ist gut, ich arbeite immer 320° Absaugen musst du meist nicht, es sei denn es ist wirklich sehr viel Lot drauf. Bauteil entfernen? - Eigenlich nur, wenn es sichtbar kaputt ist. Im Allgemeinen vertragen die Bauteile relativ viel - das kann aber auch nur mein Empfinden sein.
-Sieht man die kalten Lötstellen erst im Betrieb oder erkennt man sie sofort? Manche Augen sind nicht so schön Spitz, oder haben nicht diese "alles umschließende Form" sondern nur 7/8 oder sind etwas Knubbelig zu einer Seite.
das Wichtigste beim Löten ist, bis zum Erstarren die Lötstelle nicht zu bewegen (bzw. die beteiligten Bauteile). Das kann man durch pusten beschleunigen. Wenn die Lötstelle stumpf (nicht glänzend, eher grau) aussieht, im Zweifelsfall noch mal mit dem Lötkolben ran und ggf. ein bischen Lot zugeben. Überschüssiges dann wieder mit der Spitze aufnehmen (s.o.) Ich habe auch immer eine Dose Kolophonium dabei. Spitze kurz da rein und dann an die Lötstelle und alles wird schön.

Macht sich halt besser beim Verlöten, weil die Bauteile sonst leichter rausrutschen. Und festhalten der Bauteile beim Löten, wirst du auch schon festgestellt haben, ist nicht wirklich empfehlenswert.

Die Spitzen sollten sich verzinnen, damit das Lot auch daran hält. Auf keinen Fall abschmirgeln, damit zerstörst du die Beschichtung. Ansonsten bedarf so ein Lötkolben relativ wenig Pflege, und "einmotten" braucht man ihn (oder die Spitze) auch nicht. Beim nächsten gebrauch einfach die Spitze am Schwam abstreifen und ggf. ein bischen Zinn drauf und fertig.

Meiner-einer hat in der Ausbildung gelernt: Erst Abknipsen, dann Verlöten.

Ich vermute, daß du ein Peaktech-MM hast: die zeigen, wenn sie Werte größer dem aktuellen Meßbereich messen, "OL" an (Schau mal, was dein MM misst, wenn du "nix", also z.B. Luft misst.. Du hast hier also vermutlich keinen Kurzschluß, sondern das Gegenteil. Ich hab das Platinenlayout nicht im Kopf, daher kann ich dir nicht sagen, ob ein seeehr seeehr großer Widerstand an dieser Stelle richtig ist.

Richtig: In Richtung 5.6Ohm ist sie durchgängig, in Gegenrichtung nicht.
Ich brauche Löt-Tipps für Anfänger:

Platinen sind unempfindlich gegenüber den Bauteilen, die du verlötest. Je nachdem, was du hast, halten die Teile nur 85°C und ggf. kurzfristig mehr aus (bei Interesse findest du sowas in den Datenblättern, die gibt's irgendwo zum Runterladen).
Zwar versuche ich jetzt die Pads zwei drei Sekunden vor zu wärmen, anschließend auf der Lötspitze das Lot zu schmelzen (dauert so weiter 2-5 Sekunden) und dann das Lot von der Spitze auf das Pad/Pin zu Übertragen (dauert weitere 3 Sekunden) und Fertig.
Liest sich recht lange. Da du oben was von 230°C-Lot schriebst, vermute ich mal, daß du deine Lötstation auf "nur" 230°C eingestellt hast? Ok, dies sind meine subjektiven Werte, aber mit 270-300°C geht's deutlich besser. Der Trick zum Bauteilschützen ist, daß du die Lötstelle schnell erwärmst und schnell verlötet hast, da die Wärmeübertragung im Material verhältnismäßig langsam ist. Wenn du die Lötstelle also mehrere Sekunden lang auf z.B. 200°C erwärmst, hast du nen Zentimeter weiter im Bauteil drin auch bald 160°C. Erwärmst du hingegen auf 300°C, dafür aber nur ne halbe Sekunde, merkt das Innere des Bauteils das nicht mal...
Bei mir sieht das so aus: Lötspitze an Pad+Pin halten, halbe Sekunde später das Lötzinn seitlich an die Spitze der Lötspitze dranführen und beides direkt danach wegnehmen. Braucht ein bisschen Übung, um die richtige Menge Lot zu benutzen, ergibt aber "schöne" Lötstellen.
Aber wenn es mal doch nicht klappt und/oder sich Augen Verbinden, wie gehe ich dann am besten vor? Das Lötzinn heiß(er machen?)
Beim ersten: ja. Das zweite ist Frickelei, da hab ich keine Patentlösung. Außer, daß zwischendurch ein wenig warten, bis sich die ganze Chose abgekühlt hat, wenn man etwas länger mit der Lötspitze versucht hat, zwei Augen zu trennen...

Kann helfen, hab das mit so einem Teil allerdings nie hinbekommen, mit Entlötlitze komme ich selbst besser zurecht.

Absaugen nur, wenn du zuviel drauf hast. Das Lot wird nicht "alt" in dem Sinne, daß es nicht mehr funktioniert. Allerdings kann die Verarbeitung schwierig werden, wenn alles Flussmittel verdampft ist. Bauteil-Ersetzen ist nur nötig, wenn du das Teil gegrillt hast.

Du meinst, mehr Lot zu einer Lötstelle hinzugeben? Ja, funktioniert.

Zu lang ist doof, weil du sie irgendwann doch abschneiden wirst und dann ggf. durch die rohe Gewalt des Abknippsens die Lötstelle aufbrichst. Zu kurz ist doof, weil der Pin dann aus der Lötstelle verschwindet. Der Mittelweg ist zu nehmen (-:

Keine Ahnung. Ich mach's immer. Meine Vermutung ist, daß das die Spitze vor Oxidation schützen soll, wodurch die Wärmeleitfähigkeit der Spitze runterginge.

Ihr habt mir jetzt schon gut weiter geholfen und vor allem, was für mich noch wichtiger ist, ein Stück der Unsicherheit genommen.
Wegen dem Messgerät.. also wenn ich "Luft messe" habe ich auch dieses "OL". Nun werde ich den ein oder anderen Punkt nochmal nachbearbeiten. Wie ein Riss, oder Braun schaut das Lot eigentlich nichts aus, aber ich vermute das vielleicht ein Punkt den Fluss doch nicht sauber überträgt. Anschließend noch einmal nach Messen und mich noch mal melden.
